According to Norway’s prime minister, four US marines were killed in an aircraft crash during a NATO exercise unrelated to the Ukraine conflict.
They were killed in the crash on Friday night, according to Jonas Gahr Stre. The cause was being looked into and an investigation was going on.
A USMC MV-22B osprey tilt-rotor aircraft was involved in the incident and was taking part in NATO’s exercise Cold Response 2022.
