Leonardo hosts Conference in Malta

Crews from different countries are meeting in Malta for an event held by Leonardo Helicopters.

There are a number of helicopter crews some of which, mainly Italians have flown to Malta International Airport with their helicopters. The following aircraft in connection with this event have been photographed by our team members as they arrived yesterday. We also managed to secure a visit to Safi Aviation Park where the helicopters have been lined up.

A total of four helicopters from Italy flew in for the event, these were;

Italian Navy EH-101 Merlin
Italian Coast Guard AW-139
Italian Customs Police PH-139D
Italian Air Force HH-139B

Later we also saw the arrival of an Italian fire Service Piaggio P-180 Avanti which got further guests to the convention also an Armed Forces of Malta AW139 was flown to Safi Aviation Park to be added to the lineup of Leonardo helicopters present.
