The Armament Agency of the Polish Ministry of Defense and General Atomics – Aeronautical Systems Inc. signed a lease deal for the MQ-9A Reaper UAV on October 20, 2022. The Polish military’s ability to conduct aerial reconnaissance would be enhanced by the MQ-9As, according to information that the Polish Armed Forces have officially revealed.
The leasing contract is worth USD 70.6 million (net). According to the Armament Agency, the leasing service would be in effect until the Polish Armed Forces officially purchased and put into service the MQ-9B Reaper UCAV.
