On Wednesday the Malta Aviation Society through its facebook page announced that during Sunday’s Biennial General Meeting that it had elected a new President and also a new committee.
The new President is Massimo Farrugia who has been a very active committee member of the MAS for a good number of years now. Farrugia is also a founding member of this news portal and on behalf of the whole team we would like to augur him the best of luck in his new role as President of the MAS.
Another founding member of Horizon is Roberto Cassar that has been elected for the first time in the MAS committee we also wish him the best of luck. We would also like to congratulate all members elected in this term’s committee namely, Roderick Agius, Renald Aquilina, Brendon Attard, Ruben Falzon, Shaun Psaila, Joanne Zammit and Ryan Zerafa.
Horizon would also like to thank for his very long service Joe Ciliberti at the helm of the MAS. Ciliberti was voted Honorary President of the Society last Sunday.
