The Malta Aviation Society organisers of the Malta International Airshow have just announced that the Italian Navy is back at the Malta International Airshow this time with an EH-101 Merlin helicopter on static display.
“We are thrilled to confirm that the Italian Navy’s EH101 Merlin helicopter will be prominently featured in the static display at the Malta International Airshow 2023.”

The EH101 Merlin is a multipurpose, adaptable helicopter that may be used in both military and civilian settings. The EH101 Merlin is used by the Italian Navy for a variety of maritime tasks, such as utility transport, anti-submarine warfare, and search and rescue (SAR).
In 2021 the Italian Navy also took part at the airshow with an SH-90A helicopter also on static display.
