Italian EFA 2000 crash in Australia, pilot ejected

An Air Force EFA 2000 aircraft, during a training flight over the skies of the Northern Territory (Australia), crashed to the ground for reasons currently unknown. The pilot promptly ejected.

He is in good health and is completing medical tests at a hospital. No further damage was recorded.

The Italian Air Force EFA 2000 is part of a detachment to Australia of Italian Defence assets taking part in exercise Pitch Black 2024.
