The first confirmed participant for the Malta International Airshow is the Swiss Air Force Aerobatic Team the – Patrouille Suisse.
The news was confirmed today by the Malta Aviation Society on their Malta International Airshow social media platforms and website.
“We are thrilled to announce that Patrouille Suisse, the Swiss Air Force’s aerobatic display team, will join us for the first time at the Malta International Airshow 2023.”
The Patrouille Suisse have never visited Malta and this will for surely be a very welcome debut for such a highly capable precision team from Switzerland.
The team, which was established in 1964, consists of six Northrop F-5E Tiger II fighter jets and specializes in precision flying manoeuvres like loops, rolls, and formation flying. The Patrouille Suisse pilots are highly qualified and experienced professionals who have undergone extensive training to execute these aerial demonstrations with the utmost safety and precision.
