The third and last offshore patrol vessel (OPV) constructed for the Navy of Senegal by the French shipbuilding company Piriou has been launched.
The company posted on social media that the Cayor was introduced on May 2. In November 2019, the company agreed to build three vessels. The OPV Niani, the second vessel, was launched in September 2022.
