A further aircraft contribution form the Guardia di Finanza, Italy’s financial Police to the Malta International Airshow. This time a Leonardo AW169 helicopter is confirmed to attend the static display.

In addition to their P-72B maritime patrol aircraft, the Guardia di Finanza will also showcase their latest addition, the AW-169M helicopter.”

Beginning at the end of 2019, the Guardia di Finanza began receiving the AW169M, a military-certified version of the AW169, which helped modernise its fleet of aircraft. They will eventually have 24 units in total, 18 with skids and 6 with fixed landing gear. The AW-169M provides great performance, improved safety features, and a variety of capabilities that facilitate efficient operations for law enforcement, search and rescue missions, and surveillance.
