A Canadair CL-415 of the ‘Corpo Nazionale dei Vigili del Fuoco’ (National Fire Service) crashed during operations to extinguish a fire in the territory of Linguaglossa, Catania area, it crashed while it was offloading water on the slopes of Etna. From the first information, the aircraft would have crashed following the impact of the hull against the side of the mountain. At the moment the search and rescue teams are at work in the area, reads a note from the Sicilian Civil Protection.
