The fourth Arctic and offshore patrol ship HMCS William Hall constructed by Canadian builders Irving Shipbuilding was launched for the Canadian Navy.
The launching ceremony was held on November 27 as tweeted by Irving Shipbuilding.   Rolling aboard the barge and being towed into the Bedford Basin was the fourth Arctic and offshore patrol ship. According to the firm, it took over 49 million liters of water to completely submerge the barge during the launch. The ship’s construction originally got under way in 2019.
